If you've ever played "Magic Square" math problems, that's basically what this game is - each row, column, and diagonal needs to match the number at the top. But it also has a Sudoku-esque vibe where you have to use one of each color, in each row, column, and diagonal. The description says it "tells a story"... maybe I didn't play long enough, but I got through two puzzles without any story. It's basically just a game of math problems. If you're a new like me, you'll love that :D
