The Miki Komori Project is a small indie narrative game that focuses on mystery, atmosphere, and exploring the story surrounding its main character. Rather than relying on traditional action or complex gameplay systems, the game aims to create an experience built around curiosity, discovery, and uncovering hidden details. The biggest strength of The Miki Komori Project is its atmosphere. The game creates a specific mood through its presentation, setting, and storytelling. It feels like a project designed around creating a particular feeling rather than simply giving players objectives to complete. The story is the main reason to play. The game encourages players to pay attention, look for clues, and slowly understand what is happening. For players who enjoy smaller experimental or story-driven games, the mystery and interpretation can be the most rewarding part of the experience. The presentation helps support the overall style. The game has a unique identity and does not feel like a generic adventure title. The visual choices, sound, and pacing work together to create a more personal experience. I was certain that the clock in the background said 6:02, but when the big clock appeared on screen, it was clearly 6:00, so I have no idea what time it is anymore. I mean, I'd say I'm pretty good at reading analogue clocks. I grew up exclusively using those. Every hallway and room had one in my school. The little hand is the hour and the big hand is the minutes, but I could never remember what they called the long, skinny, red hand. After years of being exposed to these analogue time-conveying devices, my brain had developed into a state in which I could tell the time of day without observing the time machine on the wall. Yes, indeed my brain had swollen to the size of a cantaloupe, but thou mustn't converge thine thoughts into an audible form of thine language known by the Spaniards as inglés. For mine intellect hath surpassed beyond that of mortals, insomuch that but a single syllable proceeding from mine lips could alter time itself.
Charming little vtuber intro.
Pluses: it`s voiced, has alternative endings. Minuses; short, and its deliberating non-christian ways.
very good-ducking_phantom. yes miki i have many names
Think it's the first time I've seen a Vtuber lore drop in the form of a game, even if it's a simple visual novel. That's saying a lot, as I haven't even seen such w/in VTuber agencies. W/ that said, couldn't for the life of me trigger a third ending, only got the two easy to get ones, which is whether the main character jumps or turns back around and goes home.
