One day, the evil Moon, that was dormant for many millennia, woke itself up from a long hibernation... And with it's waking up brought damnation and doom. The Moon knew that it won't be able to conquer and enslave the denizens of Niyam, if the Sun is shining bright as it ever did in Niyam and so the Moon's plan of action was simple, the Sun had to be extinguished... and so the Moon ate the Sun, and with that brought withering, famine, decay and death. The Moon ate the Sun is a real-time turn-based RPG, set in a post-apocalyptic world.

Dev clearly cares about his creation, but it falls outside the bounds of all rpg standards. This plays really awkwardly. To move you have to dash/use mana. And all your abilities use mana, you are on layers of timers. (Stage is times, actions are timed, so you have to juggle energy.) There is a leveling system, but not a character builder. You start off with your mage character, and the level structure doesnt feel fun. My biggest dislike is having to dash between timers for everything. It felt more like a puzzle game than an rpg. I hate to downvote a game that the dev clearly isnt getting any attention over. But, some games just arent winners. Learn and move to the next project.5 found this helpful
