Idk man this one feels a bit too much like work. If I wanted to clean/do chores I would do it in real life. Played for a while but with nothing happening (besides a [single] silent jumpscare, my favorite kind [like where you see someone creepy when you don't expect anyone to be there]) and very little ambience (like cmon man just a drone soundtrack or SOMETHING), I just don't feel like continuing. Plus it can be extremely annoying when a piece of trash is hard to find. Separate keybind for clean and interact is also annoying. I liked the initial rainy city feeling but invisible walls kinda kill the vibe. Environment is mostly static so idk why you can't do some baked/mixed lighting. Doesn't save on every floor. I don't really understand why this is so popular.1 found this helpful
Didn't like this one ... too much tedious tasks and not enough atmosphere.
Not bad! There is something about these 'alone in the office building at night' sort of games that terrifies me so much. I really liked this short horror experience. Some sounds were horribly bugged and annoying but I think that was kinda intentional.
The Night Cleaner is a psychological horror title developed and published by Yamoto that transforms an ordinary workplace routine into an unsettling descent into fear and paranoia. Built around atmospheric horror rather than action-heavy survival mechanics, the game places players in a quiet office building during a late-night cleaning shift where isolation slowly gives way to unease. Instead of relying entirely on sudden scares or constant danger, it focuses on creating tension through pacing, environmental storytelling, and the growing sense that something inside the building is deeply wrong. The premise immediately stands out because of how ordinary it feels. Players step into the role of a newly hired cleaner assigned to work alone during the night. The job begins with simple responsibilities and familiar routines. Floors need attention, work areas require maintenance, and the building initially feels empty but harmless. The normality of these tasks becomes one of the game's greatest strengths because it creates a strong contrast once unsettling events begin appearing. The office gradually changes from a mundane workplace into something far more uncomfortable. One of the stro…
absolute peak game!
A very straight forward night cleaning simulator where you have to clean 6 office floors. The tension builds as you go to the higher floors. A very creepy woman in a red dress keeps stalking you for whatever reason. The chase scene was very frustrating at times, lol. I managed to get both endings.
