The Anomaly Inspector is one of those games that quietly pulls you in before you realise you’ve been playing for hours. It starts off fairly simple and relaxed, easing you into the gameplay and letting you get comfortable spotting strange little changes, but before long it opens up into something genuinely tense and addictive. The balance between chilled-out observation and creeping suspense is surprisingly well done, one minute you’re calmly scanning rooms with a coffee in hand, the next you’re second-guessing every shadow and questioning whether that chair was always facing that way. The atmosphere is subtle rather than over-the-top, which somehow makes the scary moments hit even harder, and the whole experience has this weirdly cosy horror vibe that keeps you wanting “just one more round”. It’s relaxing, unsettling, and ridiculously easy to get hooked on.8 found this helpful

This is one of the more interesting Anomaly games I've played. It has a good setting, great anomalies big and small and the dev very much supports the people that have supported him. I very much look forward to seeing where this goes as I've seen the development since early days and the dev does not fail to impress every time. The game also has a good balance of horror throughout it, with the scarier anomalies showing up later on and there can be a decent spacing between each of the scary anomalies that makes to stay on your toes. The Most Interesting Man in the World said, "I don't always drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis." Well, I have to say, "I don't always play anomaly hunt games, but when I do, I prefer The Anomaly Inspector." I was instantly hooked, and I couldn't stop playing it! I can't wait to see how this game will evolve in the future. To sum it up, this game got me more interested in the anomaly hunt genre, and it made me want to try out more of those games! https://youtu.be/5F5jYq_faOs1 found this helpful
