About The night of fire stealing/盗火之夜
The night of fire stealing is a retro wind JRPG game made by RPGmaker MV. The game is set in China during 1920. You play as Zhou Shuren, who adventures in Shanghai with two girl administrators, Friedrich and Karl, while exploring an unknown world full of mythological and philosophical elements. But when the gods of the humans and the gods of the myths meet, what kind of spiraling paradox will be made?
Controls:
-Directional keys and Shift
-In the menu: Left and right mouse buttons
-Outside of the menu: Z/X
"The night of fire stealing" is the first game I made. I tried to fuse my interest in myth and philosophy while building a world of paradoxes.
Because it's my first time making one, all the work for the game is completed by me. There are some shortcomings with it, such as possible unknown bugs.
The game strategy is attached to the game directory if needed. The game is also about 8-10 hours.
Plus, this is an all ages game!

The translation is rough ruining any story the game would offer. The turn-based combat feels bare even for a RPGMaker game.3 found this helpful

At first I could not understand any of the dialog. Now I mostly just click through it. It would be helpful to have the option to reduce encounters as there are too many in my opinion. The weapon store teases you with gear you will probably never afford to buy. But the gear you can afford seems to work, the battles just take longer. I appreciate that this is a free rpgmaker game that uses mouse control. It is hard to find those here on steam.
It was difficult to find where to go at first but if you spend some time, you can find it. The story was interesting and there were many things that i didn't know.
Stealing my time and effort well worth it 👌 definitely 👍
