The Pier Arcade offers 12 arcade machines, based on real-world classics, to test your skills and reactions. With its mixture of physics-based skill games and digital arcade games, The Pier Arcade will keep you entertained for hours.

Features

  • Arcade high score chasing gameplay
  • Pleasing 3D visuals
  • 12 arcade games to interact with
  • Physics-based challenges
  • Authentic arcade/pier atmosphere

Wander the Pier performing chores - like picking up litter and refilling vending machines - to earn money, then spend that money in the arcade. Earn tickets on the arcade games to purchase unique items that can aid you in your chores, or simple to show off your perseverance and arcade playing skills.

    The Pier Arcade includes:

    Over The Edge

A classic coin pusher that challenges you to shift the coins out of the machine to score big and win tickets.

    Run Horsey Run

Place bets on which horses you think will win, with randomly assigned odds, then watch the horses run and see who comes out on top.

    Basketball

Throw basketballs and the hoop as quickly and accurately as possible to score as many points as you can in a tight time limit.

    Stacker

Stack the moving blocks in a tower to win a minor and, if you're skilled enough, a major prize.

    Reaction

Test your reaction skills by hitting all the lit buttons as quickly as you can. The more you hit in the time limit, the higher your score.

    Duck Shoot

Shots toy ducks and targets to score big and win tickets in this classic arcade game.

    Flappy Plane

The phenomenon that can be found in practically all arcades and piers is here as well. Tap the button to keep your plane in the sky as you dodge obstacles.

    Key Master

Line up the key with the holes to try and get that perfect fit and earn tickets.

    Tilt

Balance the rolling ball on the bridge and tilt to try and fall into a high score hole.

    Gears

Time the release of the ball so it sits safely in each gear in an attempt to reach the goal at the bottom.

    Quad Racing

Race along the sand, avoiding rocks and bushes and trying to collect green rewards to score points.

    Whack 'em

Hit the jelly fish as they rise out of the platform to score points.

The Pier Arcade is an amateurish failed attempt to make a collection of retro arcade machines in a retro arcade, and while this concept may work, the quality is through the floor here, from a few borrowed assets to a few completely terrible one, this looks bad and plays worse. The game is very simplistic, small and limited in scope and ambition. This feels more like a tech demo, proof of concept or student homework assignment rather than a fully fledged product designed for PC gamers. As such it doesn't offer any real value as a serious PC game. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game assets are fairly mediocre/low quality which fits with the idea they weren't developed by the game creator... they look like they're "just reasonable enough" to go on sale as part of an asset pack. The issue of asset flipping aside, ultimately the qu…

A cute little game that is a great way to kill some time. There's a nice mix of games and every now and then new ones pop up just to mix things up. Worth a try, especially at such a low price. Also, the pig collectable is adorable. 10/10

A solid collection of arcade classics with something for everyone. Personally I've played loads of Over the Edge, a coin pusher game where you can really crank out the tokens! I'm not a massive fan of Quad Racing or Duck Shoot but there's still lots of other games to keep me occupied. I'd love to see a Claw Machine added if a sequel ever comes about. The sound effects are great and it does remind me of being in the arcade as a kid.

The Pier Arcade is a lighthearted arcade simulation that focuses on recreating the excitement and charm of spending a day at a busy seaside amusement center. Developed and published by DIG Games, the title embraces the simple pleasures of classic redemption arcades by bringing together a wide assortment of mini-games that reward skill, timing, and persistence. Rather than relying on a story-driven experience, the game builds its appeal around the familiar cycle of earning tickets, collecting rewards, and exploring a colorful pier environment packed with attractions. A major strength of the game is the diversity of its activities. Players can jump between numerous arcade machines inspired by real-world favorites, each offering a different challenge. Some games emphasize precision and timing, while others focus on quick reflexes or strategic decision-making. Whether dropping coins into a pusher machine, testing reactions in skill-based challenges, shooting targets, or aiming for jackpots through carefully timed inputs, the game consistently provides a variety of experiences that help keep the overall package entertaining. The assortment of attractions succeeds in capturing the atmos…
