Well, to be honest the game is not bad. I'm just gettin' into it, but i can already point out some pluses and minuses: PLUSES: The game is pretty much zelda, but in "the rainbow world", and is going to take a good evening to complete. The game contains stuff like... bears! and... king bears! and angry bears! and even living crystals, and who doesn't love a good living crystal, eh? Especially for the price, that's just a steal! MINUSES: The rainbow world is what you'd call a "first project", many things use oversaturated/stock textures. The story is... weird. you don't really understand it, and just get thrown into a world not really knowing much. OVERALL: Personally, as a dev myself, i recommend this game. Developement, even with small and weird projects still takes a long time, and usually they just become money black holes, which is rather bad. P.S. thanks for giving me the game for free as a "gift for christmas" :D
Follow our Curator Group for more reviews
The Rainbow World is an adventure game with a distinctive art style. Gameplay-wise, it uses fairly standard combat, not bad, just not unique. It features a progression system in which you slowly gain new abilities as you get farther in the game. It has some fairly prominent exploration elements, at least early on in the game. The difficulty is pretty low, a casual player could fairly easily beat the game (assuming that the game doesn't have a huge spike in difficulty past the point where I stopped playing). My only big complaint about this game is that it is too generic and by the numbers. It doesn't have any real flaws, but no real strengths either. It's just middle of the road. I'll recommend it because I'm sure it will land for some people who aren't looking for anything fancy and just want some basic rpg/adventure gameplay, but for me personally, it was just okay.

This game is pretty fun and i have to say, for a first project its very impressive imo. the more you play the more abilities you unlock and its great for the casual gamer, not too easy, not too hard, am looking forward to completing this game. :D

its really unique and great for the price, feels like an old experimental rough around the edges flash game thats easy to drop and come back to later. Plays not quite like anything I can think of and has huge Maplestory vibes from the art.

I first heard of this game from Gobi directly, and I'm glad he messaged me, because this is one of the greatest rpgs I have ever played. Quite underrated, I must say.
