✦ AI summary
The Summit Library is praised for its charming character designs, distinct personalities, genuine world-building, and inclusive romance options that keep players emotionally invested in the story. However, players consistently note that the game currently contains only the first two chapters and ends on a cliffhanger with limited choice impact, making it feel incomplete despite being well-crafted for what exists.
The Summit Library wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't clear to me that this is essentially just the first two chapters of a visual novel. Considering it's been a couple years since release, I'm not expecting the rest anytime soon. The character art looks a little odd since everyone's eyes seem to sit unusually high on their faces, but the characters themselves have distinct personalities and the story kept pulling me back in. I genuinely wanted to know what happened next. The choices didn't seem to have much impact, but overall it was a decent visual novel to relax with for a few hours. I just wish it was finished so I could see how it ends.2 found this helpful
Hello! I genuinely have adored this game so far. I love the cast, inclusivity, and genuine thought behind all the world building and relationships. I hope this game garners much more attention, as it deserves, and that others will come to love it as many have :) … For those wanting more detail: The game is highly inclusive with so many cast options to satisfy any romantic preference! In fact I had such a hard time choosing who to pursue on my first play through. Ofc I chose yakyar. They were so magical, and I loved the genuine moments of connection between them and MC. Especially for yakyar, their depth of character and the representation of such an emotional history with themes of war, family, and culture. There is an overarching portrayal of maturity in dealing with themes of war and traumas that the game perfectly captures. Not only that, but the overall experience of the writing, dialogue, and plot building is phenomenal. I enjoy the fact that we get to discover the world as we progress, unlocking information and discerning insights from specific actions and plot elements. It truly feels like I’m reading a novel, and that is a very high compliment. The story is so well thought…1 found this helpful
Very fun and rather lore-rich! The dialogues are nice and the visuals are very pretty. However, it's a shame only the first two chapters are currently available to play. Also, there are six possible love interests and only one is a woman. Bummer. Overall, I do recommend.
2 chapters currently. Wish there was more. Thank you for making this, and for making it available for free <3
A cute little game with a lot of potential, cute characters and a mystery that I find really compelling. Though the story is not finished and stops right at the rising action point, ending you on a cliffhanger. so if that's going to annoy you, give it a pass. but if you just want to romp around and have a flirt, then give it a try!
I honestly just adore every aspect of this visual novel. The world is very easy to fall into
