About The Supper: New Blood

The Supper: New Blood is a hilarious, story-driven horror adventure game for fans of dark humor, bizarre puzzles, and exquisite food!
Stewie S. Appleton runs the remote Twin Sisters Motel in complete solitude. He has no family, no friends, and no hope for a better future. He has suffered all kinds of humiliation and abuse from a cruel world, but he’s had enough.Inspired by his family’s culinary legacy, he will finally take justice into his own hands.
From Octavi Navarro (Thimbleweed Park, Photographs...) and Susanna Granell, creators of the critically acclaimed Midnight Scenes series, The Librarian, and Unwelcome, comes this crazy horror adventure game for fans of the genre.A guilty pleasure for the most exquisite palate.
  • Refreshingly weird and macabre point-and-click adventure game.
  • Play as Stewie, a lonely soul who wants to make the world a better place... in his own way.
  • Help Stewie fetch ingredients, solve funny, bizarre puzzles, and cook a delicious menu.
  • Investigate your guests' dark secrets, and then...choose your next victim!
  • Tasty, colorful pixel art!
  • Eerie original soundtrack and sound effects that will make your skin crawl.
  • And don’t forget to pet Inferno! He’s an orange cat, you know what that means...

It is something worthy of a few minutes, but I'm afraid the quality does not completely match the price it is set at. The first in this series was more sophisticated I believe, and this one just contains too many stereotyped elements, from the general appearances of every role, to the whole setting, and I just think there could be something out of the box. Silly and dark as it seems, the jokes are sorts of cliches, and every single part of the plot is just too predictable; in the end, a lot of eastern eggs in the story stayed untouched, such as the love story between the hero and the cinema pop-corn girl. If given a few more ideas, the whole game would have been much more refined.

Really enjoyed this one, more than I expected I would. Very nice art (as always), unique atmosphere, fun to play. The game’s main objective is very reminiscent of “Rusty Lake Hotel”. You also have to solve puzzles to collect all of the ingredients and then cook a dish out of your “victim”. I think the game would benefit from having more new bits of content at each location upon entering a new chapter. Because many times you circle through locations in hopes of finding something new, but end up seeing the same thing over and over again. It’s not necessarily a con, but it would definitely make the game feel more alive. Overall, it’s still a good entry that I recommend.

this game is normally not a game i play however i did enjoy it and im hoping this dev makes another game to add to this one. i would love to see it go as a series. i would enjoy the idea and see this game grow even if its just one more game to add to it. i really enjoyed this game and with the gore it made it a little more interesting and the game play was a little different for me and a over all a good game.

The story is compelling, the characters and gameplay are not. Has a gamebreaking bug where the game miscounts the number of guests, stating one guest remains to be investigated while the guestbook remains empty. Hard pass. Bought all games up until now, won't be buying any more: the last three games sucked.

it is not difficult nor easy. it is not tacky or gross. It's just simple and entertaining.
