About The Valley of Super Flowers

The Valley of Super Flowers is a 2D Platform Action game based on the story of the the valley which had been forcefully captured by an Evil Satanis ruler.

The valley of Super Flowers was a holy place where flowers having supernatural ability used to live. Flowa, a Super Flower, was born in the valley. He spent his childhood in the same place and attended schools there. But later, an Evil Satanis ruler had taken control over the valley of Super Flowers. The quality of life of the flowers living in the area have been declining day by day. Many were having a hard time to live under a roof and were under a strict Satanis military surveillance all the time. However, the most of the flower world was under the control of the Good Flowaris Ruler.
TVoSF is a 12 stage 2D platformer of poorly spaced enemies, hazards, and bullet hell that's largely a question of patience rather than skill. For a multitude of reasons, do not waste your money on this.
I have great respect for indie devs and the difficulty of trying to do it all yourself, from sprite-work, to story writing, to coding, and so on... but when you see a pattern, you have to call it out: There's nothing fun here. This feels like a cash grab, and rightfully so, when you consider the developer catalog of asset flippy content - the same game with swapped sprites. The platforming here is so amateur, even Kongregate and Newgrounds flash games of yesteryear were more polished. Jump height is impossible to control. The gunplay is button mashing, and the bullet types bear no distinguishable benefits (especially against bosses). Bosses are nothing more than bullet sponges with nigh-unavoidable attacks. You can die from damage, but not before having a visibly empty health bar with an undisclosed amount of remaining health. The story is so bad, that even chatGPT could do better. The fonts are hard to read, and the pixelart looks awful in stretched resolutions. And this…

The Valley of Super Flowers is a joke/flower themed 2D retro pixel platformer/shooter where you control a person with a flower for a head who carries a gun around. Jump between platforms, shoot enemies, avoid inexplicable buzzsaw blades rolling along the ground. I have no idea who thought this was a good idea, or what drugs they were on. Terrible joke theme aside, you get ugly pixel graphics (for a game released in 2020!), fixed controls, bad controls (jumping is especially awful) giving a bad look and feel, and they couldn't work out how to make widescreen work so the game displays in pillarboxed 4:3, way beneath acceptable standards for PC gaming today. The price is low, but still too high for a game of such low quality.

The Valley of Super Flowers is a retro-inspired side-scrolling action platformer that fully embraces the spirit of classic arcade gaming while building its own fantasy world around magical flowers, oppressive rulers, and high-speed combat. Developed and published by Anamik Majumdar, the game combines colorful pixel-art visuals, old-school platforming mechanics, fantasy storytelling, and arcade-style action into an experience that feels heavily influenced by classic 2D action games from earlier gaming generations. Rather than attempting to modernize the genre with cinematic storytelling or complex progression systems, the game focuses entirely on fast gameplay, challenging stages, and nostalgic design principles. What initially appears to be a simple indie platformer gradually reveals itself as a surprisingly ambitious passion project filled with charm, creativity, and a genuine appreciation for retro arcade traditions. The story takes place in the mysterious Valley of Super Flowers, a once-beautiful region inhabited by special flowers blessed with supernatural powers. The protagonist, Flowa, grows up within this magical environment and experiences a peaceful childhood before the v…

A beautiful little game that if your not careful can take hours to complete. Very cheap (was on sale when I got it) and If you are a steam game completionist this game is for you. All achievements are straight forward in getting. A simple find the items on the map or find the exit type game, The end boss was super fun.
