Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
I do recommend this game, but it is pretty niche as a 3rd person adventure game. This "game" is for those looking for more of an experience than an actual game with challenging gameplay. The gameplay here is very simple and not very difficult. It's mostly about the cinematic feel of this game. I wouldn't call this game a walking simulator, but it comes close to it. I beat the game in less than 2 hours. And the strange thing is that there really isn't much of a narrative here. It relies on your knowledge of Greek mythology to sort of get the backstory here. So while it is narrative focused, the narrative comes from the setting mostly and your prior knowledge of Theseus. There is some environmental story telling here as well, but again, it largely relies on your knowledge of Greek mythology. The best thing I can say about this game is that the visuals are PCVR visuals. This game from 2017 looks better than 95% of the VR games that have come out in recent years. So again, the game has a cinematic look and feel to it ... if you're into that sort of thing. I was getting a steady 90 fps. Game is best played seated, with a gamepad. This game is sick! I am prone to motion sickness but with this over the shoulder view I have zero problems. Games in this format would definitely boost VR sales because no one would have issues with this design. The game itself is very simple to play. The game play is very similar to God of War. There is massive potential here for future games and even many older games with this formula. This would be awesome as a first game for VR newbies. Highly recommended.
How do i get the Oculus controllers to work on this Game?
Nice ! Short experience, less than 2h.
Game for around 1.5 hours. There are some bugs, but you it is playable, just do not try to jump to walls (once I jumped out of map and I could just restart game) It is not a great game, but definitely it is a good experience worth the time.
