A good concept unfortunatly riddled with bugs. Chapter 1 : Timer can stop making it free. Some place you fall infinitly. Combine the both and you get a soft lock. which also happened in other chapter Chapter 2 : Staircase that you can only float on, can never land on it. Staircase with wrong collision. Chapter 3: Stopwatch in multiplayer mode for some reason. More bugged staircase. One with no collision. And finally chapter 4 was just unplayable in multiplayer, couldn't hear the bomb anymore, countdown would not reset when receiving it, it would only reset once reaching 0, so you can't really know how much time you had left. Sometime sending the bomb still gave it back so we had two bomb. Dying 2 sec after respawning in the air for no reason. And this only happened on chapter 4, retrying the other chapter worked just fine. Also each time we had to exit the lobby when softlocking, we had to close and reopen the game to join, joining would just give infinite loading otherwise Sometime looking at the bomb take it automaticly and sometime you have to spam clic. second player could almost never pick it up even when spam clicking3 found this helpful
So, it's a good idea, but I'll just say a couple of things that aren't so great. 1. There are no open lobbies, so you have to invite friends using a code. 2. The controls could be refined slightly; they're a bit clunky at the moment. 3. I'd also like to see VR support. Overall, the game is solid. I'd give it a firm 6.5/10.3 found this helpful
Incredibly fun game, purchased when it was on sale during the 2025 Winter Steam Sale. It's a simple game to play, but difficult to master. When playing with friends, the chaos makes for some hilarious moments. If you're opting to play this game solo, you'll have just as much fun challenging yourself to complete checkpoints and chapters more quickly. The devs have mentioned adding more modes, difficulties, events and more based on the developer roadmap. Waiting to see if those additions come to fruition, but highly recommend playing Ticking Together.2 found this helpful
Whether you are a platform lover or not, this fast paced, colorful, jumper will be a delight! As someone who struggles with even the most basic jumping puzzles, I found this game positively enraging BUT hilarious. I went through each checkpoint with my partner learning the mechanics and passing the spicy potato. It was so fun passing the bomb between us two, but I can imagine that with 4 it would be even better! There is nothing like the panic of missing a jump, realizing that you have the bomb, and then BLAM! Not only is this game a blast (literally) but it is pleasing to the eye. The neon colors and sleek surroundings create a world of futuristic sci-fi. Highly recommend to play with friends or play solo. Take your time learning the lay out or see how fast you can bounce between checkpoints. The speed running of this game is insane!2 found this helpful
Game is to floaty and needs some tweaking. Certain actions feel delayed thus intefering with overall accuracy in jumps. Wasnt really motivated to play past the first section of level 1.2 found this helpful
Ticking Together is no mere party game—it is an arena where you and your comrades clash against the merciless countdown of a ticking bomb, a trial of speed, wit, and daring that demands both courage and cunning; its vibrant graphics paint the battlefield with cinematic tension, allowing multiple playstyles ranging from slow, tactical marches to reckless speed runs so every warrior finds their style of combat, and as laughter, chaos, and shouts echo like the roar of a coliseum crowd, each round becomes a mythic contest where only those bold enough to defy the clock earn eternal glory—making this a game I wholeheartedly recommend to any gamer seeking unforgettable battles and legendary fun.1 found this helpful
