Tiles: The Journey

Embark into a procedurally generated world with limited ressources. Try to make it as far as possible before you are running out of food. Strive through different biomes, collect food, uncover items that make each journey unique, construct buildings that support you in different ways on your journey to finally collect all five relics scattered around the world.

How does the game work?

Whenever you start a new game a new world will be generated. You start as a settler with a limited amount of food in the center of the world. From now on you will be able to select an adjacent tile to walk to at the cost of some food. Walking towards the border of the currently visible world will discover new tiles. Every tile has specific characteristics. For example, a forrest might provide food or the possibility to hunt deer, a watchtower will give you the option to discover more tiles, a cave may be the perfect place to discover a new item and many more. By collecting food and discovering more and more of the world, try to collect all 5 relics scattered around it!

Buildings

While progressing through the game world you will collect ressources. On specific build tiles you can use these to construct buildings effecting your journey.

Biomes

Many different biomes provide a variety of ressources, animals, items and more. But beware, you might need to prepare accordingly!

Items

In each journey you will be able to discover different items with strong effects that you will have to try to get the most out of.

Unlock Items, Start Tiles and more!

Whenever you will discover a new item, perk or tile or even when you build a new building you might unlock new possibilities for your next journey. This way you will make progress each journey making the next start easier which will enable you to explore the world even further this time! Before each journey, you can choose the 6 tiles that surround you in the beginning of the game as well as one item and one perk. This will give you endless different options to play around with!
