Titan Isles

Titan Isles is one of the most immersive games I've played in over a decade in the VR space. I love that you can play the game essentially with four different styles of gameplay and that the developers continue to add and expand to the game with themed events and additional content.

Titan Isles was a pretty decent game. I only played singleplayer. I found one class especially fun in singleplayer — the one with the jetpack that lets you jump and fly. It made the levels feel open and large, giving a strong sense of scale. The other classes weren’t as fun for me, but if you get good at them, they’re probably enjoyable too. They also felt more fun when you had teammates who picked different classes. The controls work perfectly in my opinion. There’s absolutely no jank in this game when it comes to controls or gameplay. After finishing the game, there’s still plenty to do if you’re someone who likes going for 100%, and there’s also an NG+ mode. I recommend this game — it was fun, and I believe that if you have one or more people to play with, it becomes even more enjoyable.

Only a few hours in and already I got to recommend this. Criminal how little attention this game has gotten especially after Windlands. Games like this are what VR is made for. And the devs are still rolling out updates which is awesome. Co-op works great and there are so few amazing co-op VR titles out there. Rarely can I say a game is worth its full asking price. You'll especially enjoy it if you liked Windlands 2.

Great multiplayer game. The movement mechanics were challenging and fun. I liked the variety of “suits” you could wear and switch between at any time, which gave you varied combat styles and movement mechanics. It kept it quite fresh and fun and made the runs all feel quite different (some suits are WAY harder than others 😆). Some of boss fights could be quite challenging, which was enjoyable. I plan to play through this game again soon and take advantage of the most recent update.

Went in as a fan of Windlands 2 and left disappointed with the lack of polish and thought put into the gameplay. The concept is great, and I was initially very hyped when I saw all the different suits and their abilities, but there were major issues with the game that made me refund after 45 minutes, and I don't refund games often. I managed to clip out of bounds 3 times in my first 15 minutes of playing, and I wasn't trying to find these spots on purpose, they were in the starting area and tutorial rooms. And once I actually started looking for spots where I could clip out of the map they seemed to be in almost every damn room. Those small issues didn't make me refund though, my biggest problem was with the kits. There are 4 exo suits to pick from with different weapons, movement and playstyles, and there are definitely some better than others. I first tried the exo suit "Blink" in the tutorial, it sounded really cool on paper, a dash, a triple jump, and wallrunning, titanfall in vr! Well it could've been awesome...
