About Tomato Jones - Episode 3

It’s just a red tomato with a silly hat, trying to be a cool tomb raider by rolling and jumping all over the maps. Help him find all the treasures in the abandoned alien base, or watch him die... in many painful ways.

Tomato Jones - Episode 3 is the exciting third installment in the fun-filled series, following Tomato Jones and Tomato Jones 2, both available on Steam.

It This physics-based puzzle/adventure game combines classic RPG platformer gameplay with the skill-driven style of ball-rolling games. Your goal is to collect all coins and the hidden golden artifact at the end of each level while avoiding various dangerous traps, obstacles, and enemies.Unlike its predecessors, this game is set in a sci-fi atmosphere, packed with humor and funny moments.

WHAT'S NEW

  • 30 beautiful and challenging sci-fi levels
  • New dangerous traps... and DRONES!
  • Mr. Jones talks to himself like a madman.
  • Innovative camera movement and viewing angles that will test your nerves.
  • A completely new world map and areas to explore.
  • Partial controller support (but I don’t recommend it!)
  • Expect to see the message "DS die count reached!" way more often.

WHAT'S OLD

  • Great-looking "soft body" tomato physics.
  • Multiple funny hats to choose from, plus new additions.
  • Fun soundtrack and SFX.
  • Tons of ketchup.

Mine carts?! Of course! ;)

Get ready to die... a lot.

Tomato Jones - Episode 3 is the hardest of the three games, and I strongly recommend playing the first two as well the Tomato Jones and Tomato Jones 2.

Tomato Jones - Episode 3, developed by HA Studio Ltd. and published by SA Industry, continues one of Steam's strangest indie sagas with admirable confidence. The premise remains delightfully ridiculous: a courageous tomato embarks on another dangerous expedition, this time venturing into a forgotten alien complex in pursuit of treasure. Rather than attempting to explain away its absurdity, the game embraces it from the opening moments, presenting players with a lighthearted adventure that feels like a throwback to the era of simple arcade platformers. It is a title that immediately establishes its identity, relying on charm and unconventional humor to distinguish itself from countless other indie releases. Gameplay revolves around guiding Tomato Jones through a collection of obstacle-filled stages where precision and timing are essential. The protagonist rolls across platforms, avoids environmental hazards, collects coins, and searches for hidden golden artifacts that mark the completion of each level. The physics-based movement system is both the game's greatest asset and one of its biggest challenges. Success often depends on learning how momentum affects movement, making each j…

The game is definitely a real challenge, but that’s exactly what makes it so enjoyable for me. It pushes you to think, adapt, and improve your skills instead of just playing on autopilot. Even when it gets tough or frustrating at times, that sense of overcoming obstacles and gradually getting better is very rewarding. Overall, I really like it because the difficulty keeps me engaged and makes every success feel earned.

I would have given this game a 10/10 BUT Tomato Jones - Episode 3 was giving me problems with streaming and the game just wasn't worth finishing but i would give it a 5/10 for neutrality
