In Tonetaker VR, you get the highest score if you hit with the swords the music tones when they are the biggest. It is same moment, like you breaking them in rhythm of music. The more accurately you hit, the more points you gain.
You can choose from 20 tracks of different genres and difficulties, or use random selection. Musical compositions have different rhythms and different size of musical balloons. You can compare your results with other players using online rankings.

And you can tell that just by the price of $2.99 USD. So the question is: Is this game worth picking up for 3 bucks? The answer is it depends. If you're a big VR music rhythm fan and want another one in your collection with a nice little soundtrack then the answer is yes. However, if you're looking for something different or if you already have had your fill of VR music rhythm games, then the answer will be no. This is a rather simple stab at the VR music rhythm genre. You see balloons get big and you pop them with your motion controller sword. Very simple but it can get rather hectic as the beat goes faster. The beatmaps are done pretty well for the most part and the soundtrack is pretty good in my opinion.
