This game is just not fun... it is visually pleasing. It's very difficult for me to play this game when I loved Warhammer III. I wish I never bought this game when it released and saved my money.

I was kinda surprised how good can Mixed reviews game be. I guess it's just to complex for Medieval 2 fanbase. A lot of cool little mechanics and interesting resource management. I even found combat very satisfying, unlike some other TW games where I would just minmax in 20 turns and always auto win

Quite liked playing as Ramses in Sinai, been having a good bit of fun, the fact the seasons affect gameplay is also a nice touch, as it means that one must track them to take advantage of them during campaigns. The only thing that annoys me is the fact the units are so small even on max size, like what am I supposed to do with a unit of 75-90 guys that's supposed to represent a whole battalion? you literally need pairs of them to hold even a single narrow street for any real time, it's nuts. Other than that, it's lots of fun, the fact cavalry aren't as big of a factor is probably the most interesting thing (since chariots are kinda ineffective at doing much more than running down enemy infantry as they flee)
