You wouldn't think watching little dots run around a track would be this engaging, but it is! Actually, I often prefer to play sports strategy/management games, like Football Manager, with the dots instead of terrible looking graphics. It lets your imagination go to work, which is often much more satisfying than watching a low quality graphics engine's attempt at reproducing reality. There are a lot of things that could be done to improve the game overall, but it's a great start and the dev is working hard to make improvements and add content (e.g., NCAA competition). The price is right for what it currently is and it's definitely a game worth supporting if you're into more niche sports and indie game development. Now, back to my dots!2 found this helpful
This game is an incredible addition to the very limited genre of track and field games. At this time the game is still very actively being updated and developed, however it is already in a very fun and replayable state. I have not been able to find any other games that allow you to play through a track athletes career such as this has provided and I am incredibly excited to continue playing through the developments being made. Definitely worth the price if you're a track and field fan!1 found this helpful

Fun little sim game that serves a cool niche. As it currently plays, it is an addicting exercise in chasing high scores. You make choices and get to watch numbers go up on your stat page. If you make the right choices and the right stats are increased, your performance in events improves. This feels good. The person making the game has already provided patches, almost daily, since release. These updates have been sensible, and elaborate nicely on the concept presented in the 1.0 build. It seems the direction the developer wants to take is fleshing out some of the RPG elements of the game. The rivalry system is nice but definitely has room to grow, I am excited to see where the developer takes it. I am also excited for the eventual college update. I took a chance and bought it on release. I've been addicted to spamming playthroughs, trying new things and chasing achievements. Now that I have all of the achievements, I am working through getting a perfect 100 career score on each archetype. Once that's done, I'll probably work on filling my hall of fame with perfect 100s.1 found this helpful
I think there's potential here, but the gameplay is so simple, and the world doesn't feel alive, it's just generic names from generic schools running generic times. Add to this that both the writing and the UI reek of AI. I'd like to see the depth increased substantially, and then I'd be interested in revisiting it. I can commend the developer for not heavily overcharging, but I think $10 is still fairly steep for something that feels like it was vibe coded in a couple months.
