Liked the game, contacted the dev years ago, had him on my friends list. And randomly after months (Almost a year of 0 contact) he just messages me "You're a waste of life" and I was confused, anyways he basically went on a giant rant that went from 1 thing to another. Mostly "What have you done for me in my life, nothing?" and "Why are you harrassing me?" (Despite literally not talking to the guy for almost a year) Idk the dev seems unhinged3 found this helpful
Decent little horror game.2 found this helpful
I think this game is a masterpiece of its time, it immerses the player in a super horrifying alternate reality where a monster is created for the Americans to win the war. in the end its great and even scarier than Amnesia.1 found this helpful
I had to play Trapped in Stone to support the developer of Better Off Dead, a game that reaches a level of cosmic ugliness some of us appreciate. While Trapped isn't as brutal as Better, it has the same sensibility of a nightmare that never ends. There aren't any big reveals, mysteries, twists, and so on these small games live or die by. That's a credit to Trapped, in that it creates a world of horror in what admittedly is an already dismal situation but which doesn't have any of the tropes of less inspired short horror games. Play it already! Or at least play Better Off Dead. I only have two criticisms of Trapped in Stone, both mechanical - the mouse pointer can get really faint, to the point where I couldn't see it; and the very end, which I couldn't do and had to watch on Utoob, I tried a bazillion times hence my long playtime. I don't feel i missed anything though, and it's 100% playable on the Deck with the default WASD template.1 found this helpful
Trapped In Stone - World War II Horror

Positives:
+ Acceptable graphics + A tad creepy atmosphere + Surprisingly enough its not boring at all + The music is allright + Some sort of storytelling + Achievements + A short end-video of the real bunker that inspired the game + Its quite cheap to buy
Negatives:
- Walking is very slow and there is no run function - Some sounds are annoying to listen to - No options menu - You cant adjust anything (sounds, controls, graphics etc) - Stiff animations - The monster just looks goofy and is sadly nowhere near scary - Very short (all over in about 20 minutes) - The game should have been for free
Conclusion:
This is simply just a short walking simulator with a creepy atmosphere. But its a surprisingly enjoyable experience. So if you got half an hour to spare, its not a bad time consumer.
Total Score: 6/10
Horror game where you are trapped in a bunker during WW2. Not very scary but fun regardless. Overall 7/10.
