OMG LOL... THIS GAME. THE ENDING!!! AHAHAH! Okay but first... Why in the hell is "Start New Game" on TOP of "Continue Game"? That's reverse from some of the older H.O.Gs. Tsk tsk. XD In all honesty... The game isn't bad. I can *see* why other people might hate/dislike it... But me? Nah. I've honestly... Played worse and this is on a better level from those. The game works. The game has pretty locations and they have some mechanics I haven't seen in other H.O.Gs. I enjoyed those. I also liked the time thingy too. Now I can't say it's all great. I will even disregard the PLETHORA of LOOPHOLES and PROBLEMS that talisman creates lol. -> I was told to look for "parrot". Two of them. There were no parrots. There were however... "pigeon" and "seagull". Those worked. Those aren't parrots. I assure you. Did you mean... "BIRD"? XD -> Hint system glitches. A LOT. If you are bad at H.O. scenes or need help at times? Depend on yourself. I nearly quit twice and I am a semi-lazy H.O. enjoyer. There were two very particular items/events... That I couldn't even figure out and sadly the Hint system isn't a person... So I couldn't smack it for all the BS it …2 found this helpful
Classic HOG with a good story, somewhat longer than many.
A decent HOG with a nice time travel feature. I didn't experience any crashes.
This was fairly good as older point-and-click, puzzle games go. Sure, the story is overly simplistic and the plot is paper thin. The graphics also haven't aged well. But I feel like people who are buying these games 10+ years after they came out know what they're getting into. Its fine, this one even seemed better than a few others we've played. It was a good way to spend the evening.
The game worked fine for me, no issues. It was a good HOG game. I don't think we'll see the first one on Steam, but it would be nice.
On the positive side - it doesn't crash. Everything else is one huge disappointment
