i love all of the little references with the treasures and i love the fact that you can tell each characters personality with the games few cutscenes
One of the cutest game I played~ and very good in racking my brains out~
Treasure'n Trio is an interesting take on the sokoban formula where you shift control between 3 unique characters and use their differing abilities to solve each level. Really enjoyed the whole package here, great art and character designs, sound effects and BGM hit just right and the gameplay was intuitive and satisfying
(except just one level in the final world that felt oddly obtuse compared to the rest of the game lol)
. Honestly just a charming and cleverly crafted game all around.
Thumbs sideways because it's cute, and the puzzles can be clever once you figure out the rules, but I want to complain about how hard the rules can be to figure out. E.g. any character dies if they touch anyone's duplicate, and any character dies if two of their duplicates touch each other, but it's fine if duplicates of two different characters touch each other. How was I supposed to know that? P.S. One good thing I'll say: if you're being continuously chased by something as fast as you, you're probably doing something wrong. There's usually a way to get out of sight and reposition yourself to adjust the enemy's movement patterns. It's a lot more forgiving than something like Deadly Rooms of Death where you're screwed if you don't continuously keep track of how every monster onscreen moves in response to your moves.
The best puzzle game I've ever met. Although I noticed I got only one working brain cell
Found this gem from yt shorts. Cute pixel style graphics, simple story and fun mechanics. Get this game if you like puzzles.
