It doesn't seem badly designed at all really. The graphics look nice enough, the premise interesting, the gameplay somewhat engaging. But it's too difficult to begin with and lacks any sort of progression (that I experienced) so you're just in the deep end from the off. And what that results in, is returning to the Main Menu over and over again which is NOT fun. But, I think with a few tweaks it could be a nice little cheap and cheerful game. Have an introductory level with less time to survive (so it's easier and more rewarding sooner) and work your way up into the levels with longer times to survive and twenty radscorpions attacking you immediately. Pacing...pacing... that's all it really needs, some pacing. It didn't run so well on my PC which may have affected my ability to win and progress. But overall... I think there is enjoyment to be had, especially if it gets a difficulty curve added to it. I'm sort of neutral right now but give the benefit of the doubt - there's just about enough to review it positively...! This is a top down twin-stick style survival shooter. Waves of aliens swarm your position and you have to run around and shoot them or die. The game is fairly difficult, and there's no progression which makes the game feel more arcadey than anything else. Overall, despite the nice graphics, there's no long term compelling reason to play this one.
