About TVG (The Vox Games). Journey
TVG - Journey is a voxel like, medieval escort wagon game. It is a prequel to the upcoming medieval aRPG game. The aim of the game is to escort wagon to all the villages protecting it from all the enemies encountered on the way. On the way you will encounter numerous different enemies and obstacles. You will be able to collect different types of clothings and upgrade your equipment. The game is short, and it should be treatened as an introduction to the vox games I am an will be developing.

✦ AI summary
Players appreciate the game's creative voxel-based art direction and acknowledge its impressive achievement as a free indie project, but consistently criticize its clunky controls, buggy gameplay, and unpolished user experience. The static environment and lack of destructible voxels limit interactivity, and the game appears to have been abandoned without updates, leaving players uncertain whether the rough edges will ever be refined despite its clear potential.
Unfortunately the voxels are very static, you can't really interact with the voxels in the sense of a destructible environment. If you could, then this could make for a great game, potentially. However, the rest of the game struck me as unpolished and clunky in terms of UX and controls, so I didn't dig deeper. There might be a fun game hidden underneath but I simply didn't have the patience to wait for it to appear.1 found this helpful
Edit: This game has not received any updates since before I played it 2 years ago and I remember my experience of it was it being a clunky mess. The only reason I leave my review positive is bc its free and an interestingly designed game, but just know this game is currently a mess. I hope the dev team someday comes back to this title. This game is really cool and the art is beautiful. Controls and combat are kinda clunky and the game itself is pretty buggy, but if this game is still a work in progress then I think those are excusable as long as they are fixed. This game has great potential and I would recommend following the development of this game!1 found this helpful
This is a masterpiece of a game, for a one man developer team, and it being free. You can't ask for more. Great demonstration of how to make a functional voxel game. If more content and upgrades to this game, it has unlimited potential.
I like it! its just fun.
Before I played TVG (The Vox Games). Journey, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
