The art style is consistent but not necessarily high quality. It's definitely a minimalist, cellular cartoon style. I like the style, but it might be a turn off for many. The camera gave me a few issues during gameplay as well. No active players, so you'll have to bring your own competition. However, if you have friends to bring, it's an enjoyable pirate FFA game to play occasionally. Controls are responsive, ships move more like ships than the other game I tried to day (Batterneers), and it's the entire package is unique compared to other titles on the market. If you don't have friends to bring, the game has no bots or single player content. https://medium.com/underdog-mmos/random-steam-multiplayer-mmo-games-part-2-1ae33d34030a

Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments (especially if the students didn't even pass the course). Sure, it helps their marketing and helps the students feel good about themselves, but this is another case of a business putting themselves before the needs of gamers. The students made... well frankly a very poor PvP only "pirate ship" multiplayer game. Sea of Thieves, this is not. The implementation is of particularly poor quality, the …
