About TYPER3000
Type the names of your enemys to destroy them - fast! with multiplayer co-op!
Typer3000 is a fast-paced SOLO, VS & COOP typing action shooter where every keystroke counts: type words to destroy enemies, build defences and master strategic challenges.Master survival waves or defend the portal in tower defence mode. Performance is also accurately tracked: KPW, WPM, ACCURACY, PROGRESS and a lot more.
The survival mode...
...is the main solo-mode with various opponents and bosses (bosses=complete aphorisms must be typed). There are also power-ups and a special COMPETITIVE MODE. In this mode, your previous achievements for a session are deactivated and a uniform progress hierarchy is activated so that all COMPETITIVE SURVIVAL SESSIONS are identical for all players, regardless of their actual game progress.
In the tower defence mode...
...we have combined typing and tower defence - because we love both. We have built cinematic scenes through which enemies chase you, and you must prevent them from reaching the portal. Here we combine typing (you can destroy enemies by typing) and tower building. We are thinking of a world builder that users can use to build their own tower defence maps and share them with the community.
ZEN mode...
...is not about typing speed and accuracy – here you can relax and linger over a leisurely hour of typing. We have included some great works that we think are worth typing. We look forward to integrating community content in the future. We've developed 3 multiplayer concepts. (By the way: this is how the idea for the game came about. We were having a typing session with friends and thought it would be cool to be able to play together or against each other somehow. We didn't find the existing options satisfactory.) In Multiplayer COOP, you can play Survival Mode with a friend. One person does the typing, the other builds towers, upgrades, collects power-ups, etc. With the SWITCH command, you can swap roles during the session. In Multiplayer VERSUS (VS), you play a competitive survival session against each other. The player who survives longer and collects more points wins. And now for something very special, we call it ‘Multiplayer WORD WAR’. You can see this mode in the animation above this text. Here, you face your opponent. You type words that turn into arrow objects and fly towards your opponent's portal. They can destroy them by typing the same word, but they can also send their own word weapons by typing. The whole thing is peppered with power-ups such as smoke bombs that obscure the view and thus the readability of your words.
Insights & statistics...
...as everyone knows, at least since Monkeytype, these are essential. We, too, have our own algorithm that realistically tracks typing performance. We’ve also incorporated keyboard heatmaps, KPS, and global and session statistics. And when you’re in COMPETITIVE mode, online leaderboards are included, of course. In the KEYCAP SOUND LAB
...you can create your own custom keycap sound. Develop your own settings for your unique “thockiness” and “creaminess,” change reverb rooms, and even use instruments as keycap sounds.Greetings to the community and friends!
There is much more to discover. We hope you enjoy the lovingly designed details and graphics, animations and game ideas. We look forward to your feedback, comments, joint development and, above all, good times at the keys!Cheers!

Great game, I'm enjoying it! Feels like a labour of love. The controls for player movement and building structures feel good. Having the option to toggle player movement to wasd with capslock, or using arrow keys is a cool feature. Both are comfortable for me personally. And the option to hold shift to blink in a direction so you can reposition and get back to typing faster is great. I'm liking the power ups and structures, they add good depth to the game. I'm only 2.5 hours in at the time of writing this, but I can definitely see this becoming my new go-to typing game. It's solid.1 found this helpful
This is the next chapter of typing games! It looks and feels awsome, is amazingly polished, has multiplayer with matchmaking (vs and coop!) and has all the stats you would ever want. I am hooked!1 found this helpful
