UFO: Unidentified Falling Objects

7.5/10 - Very Fun Wonky Little Game! I started playing this with a couple of my friends online. They were EXTREMELY sceptical about it initially. Then 2.5 Hours passed. I play again today with my girlfriend thinking we'd play like a couple round and then switch to basically anything else. We've been playing a little over an hour. I don't know how to describe this game. It's a little Tetrisy, a little Doctor Mario-y, and 200% It's own thing. I haven't even unlocked everything and I'm almost at 4 Hours. Lmao, the music is so repetitive, but I also haven't turned it off... None of us have. It's either great or we just get so dialed in that we forget it's on a loop. Really Really enjoy this game, and on a discount I would have a hard time saying it's not worth it. I haven't even touched the single player with all kinds of unlock and other abilities to see. So with Single Player it might even be worth the full price. As for me, multiplayer with friends has been A lot of fun!

The core gameplay loop is really solid, fun and polished! However, there is some design issues in the non-core loop that sour the experience: -The game reveals way too much info from the start (map, upgrades, etc.) failing to build any anticipation / desire to discover more. -The items are a chore to unlock because you need to re-learn how to play when you get them and it feels like there's no reason to do this (no level that requires a specific item to progress) -Moving around the ship is not really fun and it just feel like a clunky after thought instead of a real space. Still, if you have a Steam Deck I'd totally recommend getting it. It's easy to spend hours hypnotized by the gameplay!

Fun challenges that you want to try to achieve again and again.

tetris/puyo but you're getting shot at while trying to line up a 10x combo platforming over robot ducks, it's fun (and harder than it looks)

Fun one, def challenging at times for the 100%
