A thousand years ago, the mighty demon Behemoth tore a colossal rift in the barrier between our world and the underworld, unleashing an age of darkness. A low-budget title with a great idea at its core - summoning famous mythical champions to fight the player's battles. Alongside an intriguing setting & story which unfortunately fail to fully materialise. What potential there is at first glance is tarnished due to its unfinished state; lack of polish & much needed QoL. Resulting in an unfulfilled experience due to repetitive & mundane gameplay, shallow quests, poor visuals, formulaic combat & a bugged UI. Unless it receives more updates, it is one to AVOID. this is one of the worst games i've ever played. character gets stuck on literally everything, the assets are poor quality, the game itself runs like a dog, there is a 9 minute intro scene where the camera zooms around to hide the shader preloading. lmao at all the positive reviews, are you paid shills or just stupid.8 found this helpful
Abandoned. It needs a ton of optimization and QoL improvement, but it will never come. The game starts with a long exposition, then a long, low-quality video, and the game finally starts. I zoned out somewhere in the middle. It doesn't matter really. The game looks like it came from the 2010s, and plays like it. The world is boringly empty, and the lack of proper development show it self in the first town when the NPCs just stand, and nothing really happens. It is recommended only for machosists with too much time4 found this helpful
Really disappointing game. It hangs repeatedly just trying to load, and when it does run the controls are a mess. You literally have to jump your way up stairs because the character can’t manage them, which feels like a throwback to clunky 90s-era 3D movement. I couldn’t even get far enough to test the gameplay properly—the character handling alone made it unbearable. Players who stick with it must have far more patience than I do. It honestly feels like an Early Access project that someone abandoned. There are glimpses of potential, but between the load failures, the broken controls, and the dated movement, it just isn’t worth pushing through. For the cost, I would expect a hell of a lot better quality of game, and there might in fact be a good game there, but again I feel this is a Early Access game where the developer(s) gave up on fixing the way the game felt and played.2 found this helpful
ME: CALLING MY TEAM. ALL OPPONENTS ON THE MAP: OH, NO! NOT THIS! The battle begins. Lol.2 found this helpful
Hardcore? Yes, it's a bit present here. It seems to be normal for this kind of game genre. The thing that catches my eye the most is a lot of magic + dialogs + quests. The thing I like most is doing quests, sometimes they can be boring. that was also the case here. i'm not sure i caught myself thinking that the older parts of The Witcher have anything in common. hmmmmm. Stylistics... that's what I appreciate the most here. retro gaming atmosphere with modern execution. I've been following the game and I waited for the early access release to enjoy the gameplay “without flaw”, but still encountered some inaccuracies... But, at least I'm not forced to buy every move of my protagonist...as is now common among AAAA- well and endless AAAA's 7.5\101 found this helpful
