Under Maintenance

Did I 100% this game? Yes. Did I unlock all the achievements? Yes. Do I recommend this game? ... no. I didn't find any of the story lines engaging or even particularly good. I was disinterested and bored while playing which usually while playing some type of Otome/Dating Sim game isn't that bad because the visuals keep me going. However, that was not the case for this game. The visuals and story were both unappealing. I was able to finish this game due to a particularly bad flare up of my need to 100% things, and a desperate attempt to find at least one good story. One story that was adorable. I did not find that story.

I usually like visual novel games, but this felt like something was seriously lacking. I was super bored and it felt like nothing was happening and too much was happening super quickly at the same time. Maybe it was rushed? There were at least some funny moments and I can see the potential, but it feels like this just isn't ready. I get that it's free, but that is no excuse in my opinion, since I have played a lot of good games that are free. On the other hand maybe that's why my expectations were higher than this. Anyway, why are only some lines voice acted??? Add voices to everything or just don't add voices at all. Half assing it just breaks the immersion, which was weak to begin with. I really don't understand how this game has so much positive reviews. Idk, maybe the other stories would be better but Tristan's was so weirdly phased and the happy ending was super underwhelming. [spoiler] Also, the time skip felt like it came out of nowhere. [/spoiler] I really can't be bothered to play the others' stories when the first one I played was so bad. It's a shame since I liked the character designs.

This game was such a positive surprise to me. I nearly quit playing in the beginning because MC can honestly be a bit intolerable. Glad I kept playing. First playthrough I ended up with Theo, who is absolutely my type and I'd 100% go for IRL. The biggest surprise was Mark. I couldn't imagine why I'd ever go for him so I put him off to last. Poor boy just needs some validation to become a cinnamon roll and deal with his trauma and trust issues. His good ending may actually be my favorite of all of the endings. Gotta love a redemption arc. There is at least one bad ending that could be triggering for control/abuse. I was a bit surprised they went there.

Honestly? I enjoyed all of the routes with each character, they were all fun, and they all are really cute, Ik, surprising for Mark. -w- Honestly the cutest out of them all is Tristan. But somehow, I found myself liking Mark's route the most, was NOT expecting that, if you take a look at his route, you'll see what I mean. :3

I like that it finishes in 5 chapters, and how all the love interests aren't connected to each other, but know each other, and they all appear in each route. The bit where you text your best friend (that you can name) throughout the development even if they don't physically appear in the game. I think it shows how the choices you made shows the development between the love interests. I don't really care for most of the love interests. Not that their characters won't be interesting to some people, just my preference. It could be because of the short game. It doesn't feels rushed, though, and I enjoyed the plot of the routes. My favorite is Mark. When I say I don't care for most of the love interests, I mean, that everyone else is beside Mark I don't care for. He pops up the most in all the love interest routes. However, I like the "push back" of the route. I would explain better, but I'll just leave that for when someone plays it, or later in the review, where I'll say ---Spoilers---. I guess the shorthand version is that I get more emotional reactions in this route vs. the others. My second is Tristian. I enjoyed how the MC meets him, and some of the "blunders" that happ…
