Unveiling the Unknown

I was enjoying the hell out of this game for most of my playtime, and was happily surprised with the inclusive option of making the player character a transgender woman. This isn't a very common option in games, and it made me happy to see. Most of the game read well with this gender option chosen, but then it was a huge gut punch to reach a later scene that implied a girl was not a lesbian simply because she was enjoying sex with a transfem. I understand that in playthroughs where a different option, like femboy, was chosen this would make sense and for most players this might be fine. I had been singing the game's praises prior to this but I can only hope that no other trans girls out there stumble into that scene without prior warning.

Have you ever wanted to play the protagonist of a harem anime where you are a futanari legendary hero's sister [spoiler]who is secretly a succubus[/spoiler]? Now is your chance. (You are a cis woman who becomes a futanari by default; you can also choose to be a femboy or trans fem; the only mandatory thing is you are petite, dress feminine, and you have a (very large) penis.) The harem VN plays pretty standard, with no big surprises or unusual fetishes. There is a bit of a cuck theme where the maids are ostensibly your brother's, but he can't have sex with them (or he'll lose his powers) and you can. (He pretty much deserves it though; he is an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to you the entire time until he finally warms up a bit at the very end of the game.) Gaining affection is pretty easy, especially once the price of gifts becomes trivial. Everything is uncensored. All scenes are repeatable, which I appreciate; I prefer that to just having a "gallery" (it's sort of the difference between remembering something that happened and continuing an ongoing sexual relationship). [h3]TL;DR[/h3] 8/10 — a slow-burn mystery built around the hero's meek cast-off sibling who's going to [i]come[/i] back in more than one way. Grow your powers by corrupting everyone the hero holds dear and show off who truly has the biggest sword around. Bask in the afterglow of great maid massage services, gorgeously illustrated by mdf-an, then work [i]hard[/i] in the dungeon to get [i]jacked[/i]. I had a blast playing it, but numerous art-style discrepancies and a dungeon minigame that grows weaker later on take it down a peg. The cliché hero-vs-demon-queen story gets flipped: you're the weak twin, cast aside while everyone fawns over your brother, until an "unfortunate" event sets you on a dark and lustful path. Sometimes dumb but fun, it draws genuine interest from the player while throwing in plenty of laughs. The mystery slowly unravels — drip-feeding reveals, re-framing them from new angles, and building a world that truly lives up to its title.
