Players appreciate the distinctive art style, atmospheric visuals, and creative concept, but the game is undermined by significant technical issues and unclear game mechanics. The main frustrations stem from unpredictable enemy behavior, movement glitches that lead to unfair deaths, unreliable audio cues, and confusing indicators for when it's safe to move, making the stealth gameplay feel more frustrating than engaging. While the charming presentation shows promise, the bugs and lack of clear feedback make it difficult to enjoy what could have been an interesting experience.
Wanted to like this for the art style but it's buggy. When the monster sees you, you need to move to another room, and often I would freeze in place or be unable to move in a certain direction which would allow her to teleport on top of me. I've also had two instances where I was immediately found in a closet even though she hadn't yet entered the room. Her singing is also supposed to be her tell as far as when she'll appear and I've found that a little unreliable - sometimes she'd appear on top of me near a door without me ever hearing her. The other elements here are charming, but even for an indie game I was a little let down.3 found this helpful
It was a cool and different experience, I really liked the idea I wouldn’t call it horror for me but the atmosphere is strange in a good way The visuals and art style were nice especially with the fireflies Totally worth it2 found this helpful
An unpolished game. I don't think It will be worth my time.
I bought this game because I follow the Midnight Scenes series (which I much say, are very awesome.) I'm guessing this game is geared toward an audience of early - mid teens. It was pretty boring, and I didn't receive a single achievement. I don't recommend this for adult puzzle gamers (or even for the teens it may or may not be made for) because while the idea is cool, there just isn't much to it, including fun.
What begins as a creepy collect-thon stealth game with potential rapidly turns into a frustrating, buggy experience.
It killed 20 minutes.
