About Uptown Outbreak
The game takes place in a cyber city called Digital Haven, where the player takes on the role of a skilled player who logs in from the real world to fight against a group of rogue AI-controlled cars, known as "bots," that have taken over the Uptown area. The bots are spreading a dangerous virus throughout the city and it's the player's goal to stop the spread of the virus and take down the bots.
The player starts in the downtown area, where they can use the currency earned from fighting the bots in uptown to buy upgrades, such as new weapons, hacking tools, and vehicles. The player can then use these upgrades to fight more effectively against the bots in uptown and earn more currency.
The game loop is simple, the player will be fighting the bots in uptown, earn currency, and then use that currency to buy upgrades downtown before returning to uptown again to fight more bots. The game does not feature a backstory for the player, they are simply a skilled hacker who logs in from the real world to help the NPCs in the game.
The game offers exciting and fast-paced gameplay, where players use their skills and upgrades to take down the bots and save the cyber city from destruction.
Digital Haven serves as the main setting. Within Digital Haven, there are two distinct areas: Downtown and Uptown.
Downtown is a bustling hub filled with various shops and serves as a convenient location for players to meet up with each other online. Additionally, Downtown offers a range of customization shops, allowing players to personalize their vehicles to their liking.
On the other hand, Uptown is where the intense battles take place. To engage in these thrilling showdowns, players need to collect items that will enhance their cars' combat capabilities.
As players progress through the game, they will uncover an intriguing story they can follow and participate in. This narrative element adds depth and immersion to the overall gaming experience.
The Downtown map supports online meetups, where players can gather to showcase their customized vehicles and admire each other's creations. It's a virtual space that encourages players to display their unique cars.
Players have the option to choose between drift handling or max grip handling for their vehicles. This choice allows players to tailor their driving style to their preferences, enhancing their control and enjoyment during the battles.
The updates are on the way including new powerups, new maps, new modes, and an online PVP system. Please note that many updates will be released later on.

Although this budget game is fine for a few rounds, you'll quickly forget about it because of the repetitive and grindy gameplay. The story barely exists. All you need to know is that the cars have been infected by some sort of virus, and it's up to you to save the city. The city is divided into two parts and is quite small. The first part is the safe location where you may buy cars and cosmetic items. You cannot, however, choose what to purchase. The item is chosen at random from all the options. Because there are no upgrades or stats that would distinguish one car from another, it makes no difference which one you drive. There are more than 40 cars and more than a hundred items categorized under wheels, decals, and drift effects, so there’s a lot of choice. And the other part of the city is where you destroy enemies. You won't have to waste time hunting for them because a mark over the car indicates their precise location. They won't intentionally try to kill you, but they will collect and use power-ups. For those who love cute anime girls and driving in metro streets with a combination of Twisted Metal. This game is promising quite a bit, but it still needs more work. It's a power-up based driving game, so don't expect weapons mounted on cars or anything. I know that the game is still in its early stages, but there's a number of issues that need to be fixed and brought to the game: -The collision physics with destructible objects (signs, light poles) stop you dead in your tracks. Aren't cars supposed to like, blow through them and not get hung up on a sign or something? It's kind of the point of driving through objects that are part of the scenery. If you look at games like Burnout Paradise, that game has scenery you can speed into without slowing down. With the exception of street lights because if you drive into them at a slow speed, it actually stops you before it falls down. -While the game looks nice and plastic-y 3D graphics-wise (it reminds me of Hotshot Racing's graphics a little bit), the HUD design seems a little too simplistic.
