Vagrus - The Riven Realms: Demo (Prologue)

They should have done a straightforward tutorial, rather than the story... it was far too wordy as a tool for learning the game. Once I got into the game, it was rather... disappointing. Way too much RNG ruining the experience. If bad things happen, I want there to be a reason (and a way that I could have avoided it) rather than just an 'unlucky' roll of the die. However, I am grateful that I had an opportunity to try it.

Демо-версия охватывает лишь малую часть мира, но уже демонстрирует потенциал игры. Она оставляет после себя ощущение неизведанного и желание исследовать этот враждебный, но притягательный мир. Несмотря на высокую сложность и необходимость привыкания к игровым механикам, 'Vagrus' оставляет сильное впечатление и заставляет с нетерпением ждать полной версии. Это игра для тех, кто ценит глубину, атмосферу и готов к непростым вызовам.

This was a fun demo. Reminds me of a hybrid between an economy management and a "choose your own adventure" novel. It is a text story driven game with [i]A LOT[/i] of reading. If you like reading and good voice acting to go along with it, then you might like this. Wishlisted for the next major sale!

The game is a pretty hardcore fantasy caravan management sim + text adventure + RPG. Even in this demo tutorial I was wiped out once before I managed to complete it XD The game setting seems to be heavily inspired by the Dark Sun (DnD fantasy post-apocalypse) and well thought out. I've got lots of fun with this demo, respect to developers for rolling out this demo for players to try their game before buying. Highly recommended! P.S. Just one suggestion to devs. You guys should look for a writer from free-to-play/mobile games industry FOR TUTORIALS(!) I know you probably hate these games but there are no other people who are able to squeeze more information into tiny texts than these people. Just give it a try :P

Very nice! I always thought this game looked interesting, but was scared off when it said it was very punishing. Whereas it probably is in many cases, it's not impossible, even for a nub like me. I am generally not too fond of games that are too hard, so playing the demo I realized that if I take it slow and carefull, it is manegeable. :) So, good demo, hignly recommendable, made me feel like I want to buy the full game.

Enjoyable
