Vault of the Vanquished is a rogue-like where you have been sent to the afterlife, after you were killed by the kings orders. You have now been resurrected and now you can collect and unlock powerful cards, to vanquish as many enemies as possible and bring peace to your Kingdom.This game is built on the idea of RNG, bringing you through countless items to collect, and enemies to Vanquish! Push to Vanquish enough enemies to fight the boss of each zone, cleansing them one by one, and bringing peace to the Kingdom.PLAY YOUR CARDS RIGHT!
You need to strategize your hand just right... from having a run where you are stacking buffs to stacking flips.THE FLIP SIDE
Every run you need to Vanquish 11 enemies before making it to the FINAL BOSS of that location. But as the run continues enemies get harder and harder, so make sure to prep yourself for it... one way might be the...CHARACTER UPGRADES
While you play through the game you earn yellow Gems which you can use to purchase PERMANENT upgrades for your character for your future runs! But another way to boost your character might be using some Unlocks!THE COLLECTION
While playing through the game and as you flip coins and Vanquish enemies you will unlock items you can use for any future runs! But the way you actually find these items.LOOTING!
You find loot after you kill an enemy, this can be anywhere from Active Abilities, to Cards you can play during the game. One way you can progress other than loot is...EXPLORE THE LAND
This game features multiple locations featuring different bosses and enemies for you to Vanquish on your journey! From a boring old castle to a village run by Goblins.AND MUCH MORE!

[b]Vault of the Vanquished[/b] is one of those games that is beyond charming, especially for a single indie developer. It is chopped full of heart, and you can tell there was a lot of effort put in to make the game FEEL engaging. This can be tough when you think about the basic mechanics of simply flipping a coin. However, after a few rounds, you will figure out there is a lot of ways to take the simple concept and make it literally set the monitor on fire based on the order you place ability cards, what coins you play per turn, etc. Being in early access, I was not expecting a fully complete masterpiece. However, what I am finding so far has been worth my small investment. I look forward to playing through the additional areas for bigger and tougher challenges. I think I will keep coming back to to see how long my name is on the leaderboards, the new mechanics added over time. If you are looking at it and thinking, what is it? It is kind of like Ballatro and Slay the Spire had a baby. :) Just like any baby, this has a lot of potential to grow into something even more and better!4 found this helpful
So fun. The graphics and visuals are really pleasing and well done. The game is challenging in a good way and each time a new flip happens I get a sweet dopamine rush , very addicting!2 found this helpful
If anyone is on the fence about buying this game, You should definitely put into consideration that it's still in development but with everything the developer has done it is very an impressively made game that is stupidly addicting and fun would totally recommend
