VE FPSO TOUR in VR is a VR experience. It worked ok on my system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok, was understandable. You have to touch your keyboard twice to start this program even from VR menu.This is a Standing experience, you will be moved by rails to where you need to be. There is some interactive items (2). I guess this is for business use or a Tech Demo. Warning: Could cause Motion Sickness with it's movement system. I have a HTC Vive and RTX 2070 Super and this experience Lagged real bad in the movement through the ship FPSO Environment tour, when you turn your head to look around. Devs need to rethink this program somewhat. Try this only if you have an interest in Off-Shore Oil Production.

This is not a game, its a very short Demo on what can be done in VR in terms of real life training. In this short experience you go through an onrails walk on a ship, and then do small repair where you "open" a pump to see the parts its composed off, and replace the worn piece. Voice is the classical female robotic one with no feeling, there is very little interaction, but visuals are good. The Ship walkthrough looks fine, but the environment is way too clean. I cant recommend this for regular players, maybe some company that wants to dabble in VR training as a demo, but otherwise its duration is too short, not that interesting as there is little learning to get from this, AND the download size is HUGE for the miniscule content (18.59gb for a ~6min experience!!! WHAT?).

"VE FPSO TOUR in VR" is not a game, although it has been listed on Steam as one. It's a VR demo where you can walk around and look at bits of an offshore oil platform. I know, you thought video games are fun, but the people of "Visual Engineering" have other plans for you. The time for video games is over, Steam is now just for oil rig demos. There's no gameplay here, no gameplay loops, you just go and look at stuff. Looking at stuff is not "gameplay". While the technical execution here seems fine, I don't know how to put this more succinctly, this is not a game. Valve has a section on Steam for software, which this would more appropriately be placed under. It's a common misconception from developers that Steam can be used as a dumping ground for anything and everything because Valve's open marketplace design means they don't curate or interfere with developers. You can publish anything you like and call it a game. It's up for the community to inform people when this kind of pollution occurs. Yeah, I said it, pollution.
