Virtual Viking

"Virtual Viking" is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this software. Instead of being a game, "Virtual Viking" is a software application that provides training in the operation and maintenance of valves (no, not Valve, valves) from the Viking Group. These valves are used in the fire protection systems of buildings. If I find out that the person in charge of fire safety in my building learned all there is to know from Steam, I'm running outside and never setting foot in that building again. Comically, this is abandoned Early Access software, too... so it probably won't even teach you everything you need to know about the valves. If this is a sign of things to come in the future, we're all doomed. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Tetris, for example, has a game loop where a random block appears, the gamer interacts with the block to position it, and then the game decides if that finishes a row or not, increases the players score if any rows were completed, then gives the gamer another block to positi…

They are hands down, and hands on, showing the new techs how these valves operate. - Over 20yrs in this business and these break downs are the best I've ever seen.
