VIDEO CHAPEL follows in footsteps of ENDLESS BECOMING - APARTMENT and goes beyond it. It's like liminal space art gallery walking sim to put it bluntly. Loved exploring it. Beautiful experience.

Very well made art exhibition. It felt like walking through a giant art complex, almost like a museum, but dedicated to one artist's work and vision. Unlike an art museum, though, there are places to unlock, pools to wade through, and secrets to uncover due to the system of focus point achievements. Also, you get to understand more of the artist's philosophy as you see and experience their motifs in the VR environment and gameplay. There was enough of traditional game elements (exploration, unlocks, collecting) that I did wish there was some sort of ending, although having an ultimate unlock was cool (but reused an earlier exhibit?). I'd say if you find poolroom and backroom type games meditative, and have enjoyed an art museum or two, then you would appreciate this piece as well. It would be nice to see more exhibits like this.

Thank you Jonathan Turner for the key to this absolutely beautiful game. Having played ENDLESS BECOMING - APARTMENT to VIDEO CHAPEL I will say the spaces feel liminal to a degree. Each room feels special in its own way in telling its own story. The soundtrack/chore was a beautiful touch on top of exploring with these gorgeous visuals. It may be a walking sim but if you enjoy calming spaces where you could just sit for hours thinking and relaxing this game won't disappoint. I had all graphical settings maxed and had zero issues with performance. Good job on this Jonathan and i look forward to your masterpiece keep up the good work.

VR – No. Desktop – Yes. The VR performance is very poor, with constant FPS drops. The VR controls have issues as well. Continuous turning with the right stick only works about half the time, and sometimes it stops working altogether even though the stick is pushed all the way to the side. It's a real shame because the game looks great in VR and provides a much more immersive experience. Despite these issues, I'm still giving it a positive review because the rest of the experience was pretty good overall. After switching to desktop mode, I didn't encounter any problems. I just hope the VR issues get fixed at some point.

A really beautiful experience, but the ambient music gets distorted and even if I lower the volume level in the settings, nothing changes. I'm absolutely certain that my hardware, software, and sound system have nothing to do with it. In the game settings, if I lower the master volume slider, nothing happens, it stays the same.

The environments are interesting but unfortunately the performance in VR is terrible.
