About Virtual Exhibition
The Virtual Exhibition makes it possible to visit a gallery from the comfort of your own home and behaves like a real gallery, which is curated by me.
The first photographers to be exhibited are Flo Slomka, Robert Krenciszek, Christian Thiele Fabian Reiche and Kersten Glaser. Besides other photographers and also galleries, the Virtual Exhibition will be regularly extended by new functions as a long-term project.
I am a photographer and not a developer. So I want to use this project to develop new skills. That is also why the exhibitions currently take place in the context of photography.
The Virtual Exhibition is an interdisciplinary project that acts as a link between photography, art and video games.
When the beta phase is over and I can offer enough features within the application, I am interested in launching open calls to the community to create special exhibitions with you.
This project is not updated regularly because I am working on it all by myself and I am taking care of many other projects as well.

Virtual Exhibition Positives: + Ok graphics + A lot of pictures to look at + Some of the pictures are all right + Zoom function + Its free Negatives: - No music or atmospheric sounds (only footsteps) - No variation in design - Some of the pictures are way too small - Zoom function cant be used when reading the books (which makes it hard to read text) - Unless you studie each photo for a very long time its over in 10-20 minutes I have experienced all the art galleries here on steam, and this is in the bottom of the list unfortunately. Not my cup of tea, and not varied enough. But thats a matter of taste. Total Score: 4/101 found this helpful

Игра 'Virtual Exhibition' – это интересный и доступный способ познакомиться с искусством прямо из дома. Виртуальные залы хорошо воссозданы, позволяя рассматривать картины и скульптуры с разных ракурсов. Конечно, не хватает тактильных ощущений и атмосферы реального музея, но для ознакомления и расширения кругозора это отличный вариант. Интерфейс интуитивно понятен, навигация проста. Особенно порадовала возможность прослушивания аудиогидов к некоторым экспонатам, что добавляет глубины восприятию. Есть некоторые технические шероховатости, например, иногда встречаются небольшие "лаги" при загрузке текстур, но это не критично и не сильно портит общее впечатление. Думаю, что 'Virtual Exhibition' будет полезна как студентам, изучающим искусство, так и просто любителям, желающим провести время с пользой. Это прекрасная альтернатива посещению музея, особенно когда нет физической возможности это сделать. Рекомендую!
