Vincent the Vampire

Slightly difficult at times due I think to some unfinished bits. Some things you need to find by clicking on the hitbox without any visual clue and one spot that you seemed to have to brute froce which was pretty annoying (Maybe I'm dumb) But I like the art and voicing. I hope the developers stick with the patches. And don't ever add cutscenes I really like the narrator. :)

Overall I had a great experience with this game. There are some bugs, sure, but felt like I could overlook these bugs because I really enjoyed the humour of the writing. I enjoyed the simplicity of the point and click adventure mixed with the level of dark humour in Vincent. I feel the price point is fair for the game.

Like the story not being longer, so it can focus on Vincent being a vampire and his personal struggle. Furthermore, some bugs remain here and there. As annoying as fixing bugs can be, the developer could have lifted all this a while ago, leaving the game the way it is. But they still continue taking bug reports and fixing them as soon as they can. I don't know about you, but that shows commitment and love for their product, and that should be credited. Now, I am satisfied you should be able to complete the game smoothly, which was my main certain before with the state it was in, but if you do ever get stuck, you can use the guide that the developer finally completed to help you. too buggy unfortunately :/ really great graphics and story seems solid. but too many bugs so it's impossible to know if something is broken or i can't figure it out.

Pros - Nice artstyle - Decent voice acting - Interesting world and characters Cons - Lacks alot of polish; lots of continuity issues with dialog trees and even interactions being repeatable after no longer being relevant. - Lots of other strange glitches; at one point the character repeats all of the dialog from the chapter. - Hotspots can be a little finicky, saving and reloading is sometimes necessary to get hotpots to work. - The game has horible post processing effects that make everything dark and blurry. You can turn them off but they toggle back on each time you reload the game, - Every time you load a save the character does this weird walking around the scene even over parts that shouldn't be walkable. - Looking at the guide there is whole sections "outside the bar" and "inside the bar" which seems to have been skipped almost entirely in my playthrough (I did wonder why I had all of these extra items in my inventory for no reason and why certain puzzles seemed unfnished. ) I was still going to give the game a possitive review despite the flaws but unfortunately there is game breaking bug for me at the end.
