About EvoMon

Evomon Is a creature collector in tamagotchi version where you can train a small and helpless baby Evomon until it becomes a strong and fearless adult Evomon, play lots of different minigames, fish, complete expeditions, battle monsters, combine new Evomons in the lab and meet dozens of Evomons many different. Throughout your journey, train an evomon so that it can become an Evomon Champion.

What is it like to care for a little Evomon?

Be a good trainer for your little Evomon, feed him various foods, clean his poop when necessary, spend your Evocoins buying new tools at the store and make sure he has everything he needs to continue his heavy and intense routine. Otherwise it may need to be frozen ahead of time.

You don't want to just take care of a baby forever, do you?

Train your little Evomon like never before in intense minigames in the Training Grounds, earn XP to evolve it and find out what its older version will look like.
Discover special Evomons in the Expedition Area, where you can play different expeditions and at the end of each one, earn an exclusive item that can be used in the Lab to combine a special Evomon.
Are you out of money? No problem, go to the Fishing Area and fish for special and unique fishing items or assorted fish, which can be used as food for your evomon, or to sell and barter some good Evocoins.

What would your dream bedroom look like?

Earn new furniture from the gacha machine and customize your room the way you want with lots of different furniture.

Do you still have energy for a battle?

Take your strong and fearless adult Evomon into the Final Battles, where you will defeat Evomons from a variety of trainers. Even if you can't defeat them all at once, take all your knowledge gained in battle and combine a new Evomon in the Lab. Start a new adventure with your new Evomon, until you defeat all the monsters and become an Evomon Champion.
Combine new Evomons in the Lab at the end of each Evocycle. Whenever you lose an Evomon in battle, you can either revive an old Evomon or freeze it and from it combine two Evomons to spawn a new egg, with a completely different new Evomon waiting to be trained... I hope this time everything goes well.

Game's unnecessarily tedious. Good concept, weird execution.

I sadly cannot recommend this game. If this is collecting monsters or collecting sprites after them, is one thing but not big deal. Pet sim game can be fun as well. But that game is not a fun pet sim. This is just bunch of badly made mini games with almost non existing pet sim part. And fighting? Fighting is just another set of even worse mini games. And to clarify, it is not only about being good or bad at mini games, it is about luck. Sometimes you can encounter at first few seconds of minigame situation, in which it is impossible to reach the solution due to for example, maximum speed that you can reach during minigames. Minigames almost all of them are bad versions of action mini games - puzzles would require to made them properly. And monster collecting, to be fun, requires two things. First: good sprites. There are few good sprites. But many of them are just bad. Or just lazy design. Second: anything that is different between monsters. And I didnt feel anything that made monsters special. This game could be just some student project. Or demo, to show what you wanna made, but is still early.

EvoMon is the closest thing we have on Steam to the classic Digimon virtual pet experience. It's a creature collector in a Tamagotchi-style, where you care for your Evomon from its infancy and discover its new evolutions. The game is packed with features, including a large number of monsters to collect, mini-games, and much more. In Evomon, you are responsible for raising your creature, feeding it, and cleaning up after it. You can train your Evomon in a variety of mini-games to help it grow stronger and evolve. There are also mysterious expeditions to go on, intense battles against different monsters, and even a fishing mini-game. One of the most interesting features is the ability to combine new Evomons in the lab to create new and unique creatures. The game has a charming retro aesthetic, with pixel art graphics and 8-bit music. There are over 49 different Evomons to collect, each with 3 evolutions, for a total of over 147 discoverable evolutions. You can also customize your room with a variety of furniture that you can get from a gacha machine. If you're a fan of virtual pets and creature collectors, Evomon is definitely a game worth checking out. You can find games like thi…

The art is really good, but everything felt very slow. I didnt like any of the mini games, and most of the controls did not fell good.

It's an okay game, a good way to kill some time. The pixel-art is good and the whole game is set around the same style, which I appreciate. Minigames to gain exp are a bit grindy and like many popular mobile games. The fishing minigame is a bit tedious with multiple stages, but overall it's doable. The expedition part is a bit lackluster and the difficulty level in bosses is nothing more than giving them multiple HP bars you have to deplete. The arena part shows a bit more creativity, but is a challenge to get through. There are a few buggy controls still, like the accept/deny button showing on a different part of the screen where the game wants you to click on. Game randomly froze sometimes on me as well. It's not the best, most amazing game ever. But it's also not mindblowingly bad either. It's just there, I like the idea and the concept. But what they eventually came up with isn't blowing me away. For the price they charge you (and especially during sales) I'd recommend it. As it's pretty much guaranteed you'll get a few hours of entertainment out of it.

Well i cant say very many positives as the game was only able to keep me interested for a few minutes at best. its a very half baked tamagotchi style game. the evomon dont even move around much except have a single animation that loops over and over. Tamagotchis are more expressive and move around a lot. The main game play is just playing very crappy mobile games that are tedious. I was hoping for something more high quality to be honest. Tamagotchi at least has fun mini games and you can accessorize your tamagotchi, give it a bath, etc it just has a few more features than what I saw available to me right away. I understand this is tamagotchi like but to compare itself i feel just isnt there since the quality is really low. the only positive i honestly have are the pixel art and a bit the music. I am hoping for something better because the concept is there its just.. you need better mini games if that is the main gameplay loop. for now not recommended.
