Be careful, even if you buy Virtual Pool 4, you won't be able to play the multiplayer game, they will still ask for more money. Also only a couple of people online, abandonware. Just play the single player game1 found this helpful
Demo version for one time play
Simply, to me it's just the simplest, no frills, realistic online pool game out there, bar some, cause i havent tried them all, but i dont expect much better than Virtual Pool 4. Try it youll love it.

Edit: March 30/2026 Tried again on Linux. Wife and I played couch co-op. Easiest way was having TWO(yes two) USB keyboard/mouse dongles with each of us using our own keyboard/mouse. What an improvement! We just made an un-written rule between us that whenever the other is shooting the one not shooting turns their mouse upside down so no accidental interference. ------------- Officially changing my rating to a SOLID (forgive the pun) THUMBS UP! ------------- Full screen works great on Ubuntu Studio 24.04 LTS (Linux) with my nVidia video card. It really is the CLOSEST thing to shooting pool with a mouse that I have found. Trust me. I also own ALL the other ones on Steam that are supposedly "top tier pool games". This is BY FAR the best for couch co-op pool if done like I mentioned above. Solid 10/10 for me!
