vROVpilot: TITANIC

[Ignore the whiny community, they don't know how amazing it is to even have this] Amazing way to explore the wreck of the titanic, with added support for the controller and the stern, it shows that Magellan are committed to making this a fun way to explore their scans. There are a few things that need ironing out (text duplication, not fitting in UI boxes, controller support in menus) but overall worth the purchase to support these guys and to actually experience the titanic wreck in an interactive way. Hope to see options for higher resolution scans as DLC to make out details like the plaques, or some more explanation/narration of the ship, hopefully the team can make these popular requests happen!

The level of detail in vROVpilot: TITANIC is absurd. A couple of years after the Titanic's wreck was discovered by Bob Ballard and Jean Louis Michel, French explorers with IFREMER went back to the wreck aboard the submersible Nautile (as reported by Samuel Pence of the Historic Travels YouTube channel), and they wanted to get images of the Titanic's nameplate on the port side of the bow section. To do so, they bought a cheap broom, brought it down to the wreck, and used their submersible's robot arm to dust the rusticles off the nameplate, got their images, then left the broom sitting on the port side of the forecastle deck. YOU CAN SEE THE #$%@ BROOM IN VROVPILOT: TITANIC. THAT is how exceptional the detail in this game is. If you're a Titanic enthusiast, GET THIS GAME. You will NOT be disappointed.

I strongly suggest starting/playing this game on the hardest difficulty and in first person mode. You can change it in the options menu at any time. I say this because the easier difficulties spoil the surprise of having having the Titanic emerge from the black abyss and engulf your whole screen. This never gets old to me, still gives me shivers every time.

The game is extremely high quality and is incredibly cool. I don't think there's really anything like it and whether you love the Titanic or not, it's a great simulator that anyone can enjoy! Being able to explore the Titanic more or less as she lies on the seafloor from 2022 is incredibly cool and a great way to immortalize her story for generations to come. Can't recommend enough!

Despite limited amounts of content this is truly one of the most comprehensive pieces of data ever given to the public on Titanic, the ability to see her as she is is really quite eye-opening. There is a real eeriness to seeing the wreckage itself through a screen, knowing that the areas you see in the 3d scan were where heroic officers gave their lives lowering boats, or freeing the collapsibles, or where hundreds of people clung on desperate for some last hope of survival. It is eye opening, it really shows how destructive the final hours of Titanic were, and despite the detail in the scans only being around ten percent of the real scans, you can still make out details like the linoleum tiles scattered from third class in the stern section. I find it is a game to play in remorseful silence and absolute wonder. There are obviously a few improvements the community seek, notably the scan percentage being increased which I do agree should be done, most systems can handle it. Alongside adding the debris field, which we hope is soon to come! Notable features that could be improved is the optional 'mission' mode and a UI removal key.
