Incomplete and abandoned, terrible controls and camera, no idea wtf is going on3 found this helpful
The game that could of been good. Warmada/Warfleet is an interesting game that sadly was abandoned not too far into it's development. The ship/station creator is easy to use and when you get the hang of it you can create some very creative items. The combat is okay but eventually becomes one-sided the balance of the game is not immense as when you start building too large of a fleet with much higher class ships the game engine itself begins to lag out. Past the point you get your own station, there is not much left to do in the game anymore. Some weapons like the nuclear missiles and Howitzer are unfinished. It was promising once, now it just makes a good wallpaper.3 found this helpful
it's a simple game. it's 5 dollars. it's fine. i had some fun with it.
too buggy
There is almost no tutorial and it is hard to get going. once you figure out the gist of the game, there is actually a lot of content. Sadly most new players don't get to the endgame. I myself quit after 2 hours but i came back to the game and figured it out so I would say this game is worth getting to those battles in the trailer
This is a pretty simple little game, but it is a load of fun. The music and art direction is great. There is an amazing sense of scale to it, like some sort of great space opera. But the game its self is smallish, you've got a pretty small set of weapons that all do different things. It is fun to optimize your ship design to get as much out of those weapons as possible, but mostly the ship design is visual. It isn't being developed any more, but there is certainly enough game here to burn through a few hours of entertainment, enjoying the visuals and music and playing with the tinker-toys. Well worth the modest price.
