3/10 I wanted to like it. It does have fun mechanics and fun units to use... In the beginning. However, even on the "easy" difficulty the game is borderline aneurysm inducing. The AI is completely overpowered and you are never given enough supplies to properly counter. If you gather supplies they just get stronger. See the problem? By the third island it is practically impossible to continue, on EASY. This game is a waste of time and an insult to the player's time as the AI has infinite everything while you are barely making $5 per 20 seconds. This is just knockoff Age of War and it isn't good.1 found this helpful
What a fun game. I got it from a bundle and didn't know what to expect, but it's a lot of joy to play it.
War Pips plays like a modern retelling of Armor Alley. The gameplay isn't particularly deep, but it's entertaining. It's nice to have something fun that you can pop open for a few rounds without a big time investment. The storage utilization is actually reasonable too, if that's something you care about.

Wow just, wow buckle my belt, bend me over and call me sally while we play the ♥♥♥♥ of this game and go to pound town. Holy ♥♥♥♥ though I was ready for this to be mid or just really okay, but damn does it hit that sweet spot. Not too hard, not too easy and doesn't take half your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ life to complete. To say it was short is true yes, but there is an endless mode if you really want to, but I'm actually happy it didn't outstay its welcome. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great game, especially for that cheap price, even better on discount.
