Wartheon is a fast-paced 2D roguelike adventure set in a world on the brink of elemental collapse. When the malevolent sorcerer Moldran tears open a rift to steal the powers of the elemental orders, chaos floods the land. From this rupture, twisted beasts and corrupted creatures pour into Wartheon, warping the balance of nature and plunging the world into peril.Take control of one of eight unique champions — each a master of their own combat style and skills — and fight your way through eight perilous levels, each dominated by a sub-boss corrupted by the elemental rift. Every journey is different, with procedurally-generated rooms, randomized loot, and punishing enemy encounters that reward tactical combat and quick reflexes.Customize your build, master your skills, and adapt to ever-changing layouts and enemy patterns. With multiple playstyles and randomized challenges in each run, Wartheon offers deep replayability for roguelike fans seeking skill-based progression and meaningful decision-making.Level-Up & Character StatsIn the game, you will level-up when your yelow experience bar at bottom-left filled. When leveled-up, you will get a skill point and 2 stat points. You can use them in order to improve the chracter's build. Every character has 5 unique special skills. But you can only use 3 of them actively.NPC RoomsDuring the wandering through the dungeon, you will rarely meet NPC rooms. Those NPCs can sell you goods or convince you to play gamble.

Pretty fun game! Nice mechanics and cute pixel art3 found this helpful
The game seems really promising. The pixel art style is really cute and looks great. The multiplayer option is a valuable addition to the genre. At the moment, melee and ranged characters don't feel completely balanced. Currently melee characters is being punished more than ranged ones. I also think the weapon system could benefit from having more unique weapons instead of the typical hack-and-slash style loot drops. But ofc it a design decision. The game's atmosphere is really enjoyable, and with more content and polish in future updates, I'm sure it will become an even better experience.2 found this helpful
It's a pretty well made roguelike game, with sufficiently diverse, interesting characters, which bring about many playing styles and different builds, and the game offers a lot of replayability. Visuals are pretty slick too, with cool lighting and animations. Well worth a buy.2 found this helpful
A cute Rogue-Like game with retro graphics.2 found this helpful
I've got around 7 hours in so far, and it's been a pleasant surprise. I usually get bored pretty quickly if a roguelike doesn't have satisfying combat, but this one kept pulling me back for "just one more run." The different characters actually feel distinct instead of being simple stat changes, and trying out new builds has been the most enjoyable part for me. Some runs are brutal, but when everything finally clicks together it feels really rewarding. It's still in early access, so there are rough edges here and there, but the core gameplay is solid and that's what matters most. If the developers keep adding content and polishing what's already here, I can easily see myself putting a lot more hours into it. Definitely worth keeping an eye on. Looking forward to future updates.2 found this helpful
It turned out to be more enjoyable than I expected. The gameplay is smooth, and the battles are quite satisfying. I just wanted to jump in and take a quick look, but I ended up playing for a long time :)2 found this helpful
