About We Surround You
Your orders are to surrender, but you prefer death to dishonor.
Instead, you hold your position behind two bunkers with nothing more than your assault rifle and a bloodlust. Face off against the invaders and survive several waves of attacks. As you take on the enemy, their general will devote more resources to the fight in hopes of crushing you. He will send helicopters, tanks, planes, artillery barrages, and eventually grab his shotgun and come after you himself. What he doesn’t know is that there is no stopping you.
Remember that you have allies who will drop health packs and weapon upgrades. Choose between eight possible upgrade paths that best fit your play style.
Only you can stand up to them. If you can destroy their army and kill their general, you could end the entire war.

"We Surround You" is a laughably bad single point wave survival shooter... you play a soldier with a gun in the middle of the map and blast waves of tanks and soldiers... that's all there is to it. This looks like it was made in Adobe Flash... it's worse, it was made with Java... in fact the whole game is so badly put together it's a complete joke. So this looks like an old 1990's Adobe Flash game that you might play in a web browser, and the problem there is obviously Steam wasn't intended to try compete with Chrome and Firefox. If it can be done in a web browser, it's not even close to a cutting edge PC gaming experience. That's a problem. The game here, such as it is, is of a pretty low technical standard. The implementation is basic and comes across as threadbare, more like a 'weekend project' rather than a commercial release. An experimental piece... and the experiment is "can I spend $100 on Steam Direct and then call myself a game dev?" While that $100 spend on Steam Direct probably made the developers feel good about themselves, we have to ask why this kind of thing is good for gamers. Short Game I love it. The Best sound track out of any game ever. Easy to learn but hard learning curve. Top 5 game of all time/

Сюжет, хоть и не поражает новизной, отлично реализован через окружение и звуковое сопровождение, создавая постоянное ощущение, что за тобой наблюдают. Визуальный стиль, нарочито состаренный и зернистый, добавляет шарма и подчеркивает безысходность ситуации. Механики выживания просты, но эффективны. Укрытия, скрытность и умение ориентироваться в темноте - ваши главные союзники. Отсутствие оружия заставляет полагаться исключительно на хитрость и инстинкт самосохранения. Искусственный интеллект противников достаточно умен, чтобы создавать реальную угрозу, но не настолько, чтобы разочаровать нечестностью. Однако, игра не лишена недостатков. Иногда случаются предсказуемые скримеры, а продолжительность сюжета может показаться короткой. Тем не менее, 'We Surround You' - достойный представитель жанра хоррор, который может напугать даже искушенного игрока. Рекомендую всем, кто ищет адреналиновый опыт и готов столкнуться со своими страхами лицом к лицу.
