Players appreciate WhichWayOut as a clever puzzle platformer with creative mechanics involving clones and light-based puzzles, praising its humor and moderate difficulty. However, the game suffers from significant issues including a broken achievement preventing 100% completion, various bugs with game mechanics, and complaints that later levels don't evolve enough in complexity, leaving some feeling the developer didn't fully realize the game's potential.

The limited toolkit works in the game’s favor early on, keeping the focus clear, but later levels…

cool game but there are bugs with balls (glowing clones) and advice and use the spacebar to stop in place, the levels are moderately difficult but in the end the developer was too lazy to complicate them Sooo 7 balls with eyes out of 10 =)
