About Wireframe Warfare

Wireframe Warfare is a Singleplayer Action/Tower Defense hybrid game created by a solo developer over the course of a year. Blast and strategize your way through various levels, combating waves of viruses attacking Cyber Beacons across the pathways of a digital space.Tackle 6 different maps and 6 degrees of difficulty, with 7 distinct weapons, 7 varied towers and 75+ Skills to augment your play style! More maps, weapons, towers and skills to come with future updates!

T.A.N.K (ACTION GAMEPLAY)

Tactical Armored Nexus Keeper, or T.A.N.K for short, is a customizable program with several different offensive weapons and modular attachments. During gameplay, you will be controlling your own version of a T.A.N.K, harnessing its power to defend the Cyber Beacons.

S.T.A.N.D (Tower Defense)

Secure Tower Allocation and Network Defense protocol is the foundation of your defense against Viruses. Deploy offensive towers to deal damage, defensive towers to debuff and utility towers to boost your resources.

Play Your Way

Use the Skill system to tailor the T.A.N.K program to your play style. Like to take hits and keep going? Boost your defense. Tired of having to refill your health or ammo? Boost those too!

In addition to skills, the T.A.N.K program can also use Attachments. Cosmetic items that boost stats like speed, defense, ramming damage and more. Swap these around to find the combo of Attachments that works best for you!

Customize Your T.A.N.K

Make the T.A.N.K program your own with cosmetic items and color variations.Note from Developer:"Please be aware that the game currently has some limited settings, such as lacking a Rebind keys option and full controller support. Some users have had luck with Steam Deck usage and I will be expanding upon this in the future. There are plans to add some additional weapons, towers, skills and maps. So while the game has reached V1.0, there is still more work to be done.I thank anyone who gives my game a chance and supports my growth as a game developer. I'm only a solo dev and this is my first commercial release, so I look forward to any constructive feedback players can offer. Please enjoy Wireframe Warfare!"-Kyle "Azirin"

What I love the most about this game is how it nails the computer-matrix-style atmosphere. There's an awesome upbeat soundtrack, and some nicely polished elements such as the smoke during your tank's movement vaporizing into computerized bits. I even found myself exploring the mini cybercity on each map to hunt down some of the collectibles. Mechanically, I like that there's two separate layers of placing down your towers, so that you can ultimately take control of your fate through your own tank abilities. I had to rely on both systems (usually to snipe down flying enemies that slipped past my defenses), so I think the difficulty is fair. Some gameplay elements I couldn't quite figure out -> there's apparently slots for attachments, but I couldn't find anywhere to actually get or purchase any attachments. I appreciate that the developer is still making updates, so looking forward to any improvements!

It is a fun game to play, im not huge into TD games, but this one is sure fun to play and, the enemies are interesting. The developer definitely put a lot of time into making it and it shows in the models and game play.

I've never been a fan of tower defense games. In college, they'd have us do tower defenses as a first-ish game dev project. I've played too many tower defense games at this point, but Wireframe Warfare was different enough that it was actually entertaining for me to play. There's a nice difficulty curve as you progress, you can't just idle and do nothing and still succeed, and finishing a level after dying 3 times is satisfying. Little bugs here and there, as I was able to get my tank to fly, but that's really more of a "It's not a bug, it's a feature" because of how entertaining that was. All in all, good game, and excited to see what this developer brings out in the future
