Hunters are tasked with seeking pesky witches hidden throughout the map. Mix and match an array of different tools and abilities to help detect, trap or slow down witches as well as traverse the map effortlessly!
Witches can mimic any physical object in the landscape to fool the hunters and survive. Found by a hunter? Don’t worry - use a spell to fly, disorientate, or distract them away from your hiding spot while you escape!

Pros: pre-launch menu (4 options), good amount of customization in the video settings menu, borderless fullscreen mode is default, vertical sync can be disabled (default max frames per second is 60, but you can increase the max frames), charming soundtrack & art style, daily quests & weekly quests available, huge amount of customizations, crafting & trading of items, tutorial available in the “Information” menu, global server browser, multiple game modes, wide selection of maps & props, custom maps are supported, some maps support up to 16 players! Cons: frame rate drops, some large maps have overwhelming amount of props (which favors witches), there is no favorites tab on the server list browser Overall, I bought this game on sale & have spent 2 hours as of the writing of this review. This is a “prop hunt” game much like the original Counter-Strike mod & Garry’s Mod. As of 2026 there are still people playing this game so multiplayer is not entirely a ghost town. Witch It has my recommendation1 found this helpful

Witch It is basically a polished little prop hunt and that's exactly why it works Hunters get actual abilities to track you down instead of just walking around clicking on furniture, and even when you're hiding as a witch you've got little powers to mess with them, throw them off, buy yourself time. That back and forth is what makes it fun, not just hide and pray Tons of maps too, colorful, different sizes, and the sheer number of objects you can turn into is kind of ridiculous in the best way Great with friends, chaotic in a good way, easy to jump into for a session or two
Very boring. Low player count doesn't help. This may have been fun when it first came out, but now it's practically dead. Honestly should probably be F2P at this point.
