"Word" is a really nasty cash grab... basically it's a simple typing tutorial where you type out bible verses and count your words per minute. But the problem is the insane $21 USD worth of soundtrack DLC you're supposed to buy... yes, that's right, the developers are trying to use biblical verse for their own profit and self enrichment. I'm pretty sure one of the commandments in the bible has something about not using faith for your own vanity and personal profit, but that's what's happening here. Disgusting, isn't it? Anyway, horribly unethical developers aside, religion, like politics, has no place in gaming. For gameplay purposes, because the user interface for this game is mostly just 2D static text/images... it might as well be a web page. It's functionally no different from a browser game. And we all know, Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If the game can be done in a web browser, it's just not rich or compelling enough to appeal to serious gamers on PC. The graphics here are particularly awful, just text and some probably stolen stock art, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It…
